1 lb - flaked rye
1 lb - light german crystal
1 - 3056 bavarian wheat wyeast
4 oz - saaz 3.5% aa (boil)
1 oz - tettnang 4.5% aa (15 min)
1 oz - tettnang 4.5% aa (5 min)
Brew schedule (first batch)
8:40 start heating mash/sparge water
8:55 mash starts at 155°F in 180°F water
9:55 sparge starts with 185°F water
mash at 161°F
10:52 sparge ends, mash at 150°F
11:05 boil starts at 150°F
11:30 hot break ends
12:30 boil ends
12:32 wort chill starts
12:41 wort chill ends
1:20 all cleaned up

11:45 mash starts at 160°F in 181°F water
12:50 sparge starts with 175°F water
mash at 153°F

Notes
Four pounds less grain then first rye, gravity dropped 0.004.
Started off good, by the end the rye flavor was too much.
Still a bit heavy for a summer beer, try less grain next time.
